Training sessions
We are pleased to announce that specialised training has been arranged for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) who submit HOOF Bs for prescribing oxygen to patients in the East of England region. This training is essential to ensure best practices are followed and to provide support in completing and submitting HOOF B forms accurately.
Dates
The training will take place on the following dates in November 2024:
- Thursday, 14th November 2024
- Friday, 15th November 2024
- Thursday, 21st November 2024
- Monday, 25th November 2024
- Tuesday, 26th November 2024

Agenda
Training will commence at 9.00am and finish at 2.30pm. The afternoon training will begin at 1.00pm, covering topics for Team Leaders and those responsible for reporting. You only need to attend the afternoon if it applies to your role.
Morning session
This session is intended for all HOOF B prescribers:
- 9.00am – Introduction to Baywater Healthcare
- 9.15am – Key HOS contract changes
- 10.00am – Operational overview
- 10.15am – Equipment overview
- 10.45am – Oxygen consumables
- 11.00am – Break
- 11.10am – Oxygen and fire safety
- 11.30am – Oxygen portal
- 12.00pm – Questions
- 12.15pm – Lunch
Afternoon session
This session is intended for Team Leaders and those responsible for reporting.
- 1.00pm – HOOF conversion
- 1.15pm – Reporting
- 2.15pm – Questions and close
