The Social Value Quality Mark CIC assesses organisations to support them in achieving the highest standards in social value.
Social value is very important to us. We believe that social value is the right thing for us to do as an ethical provider of healthcare services.
Our social value commitment addresses immediate needs and supports long-term sustainability and shared growth. We encourage inclusivity and a culture of strong morals.
At Baywater Healthcare, social value is embedded as part of our culture and is something all our employees are invested in and actively contribute to. Our social value starts at the top, with our CEO leading our Sustainability Champions Group. Our managers are encouraged to believe in and demonstrate a commitment to social responsibility, setting an example for our entire company.
We have many social value initiatives, including donating to charities throughout the UK through our Employee Donation Request Policy and introducing initiatives to reduce our emissions. We are also members of the Cheshire Community Foundation board, where we help designate funds to worthy charities around the country.
For this award, we committed to a social value pledge and definition. We have also set a road map and objectives that we plan to achieve as part of our social value commitments. To achieve this accreditation, we have evidenced high levels of achievement and commitment towards social value and positively impacting society.
Being awarded the bronze mark is a testament to the hard work of all our employees for demonstrating a strong commitment to our social value and sustainability projects.
We have begun preparing for an audit in 12 months’ time, which could lead to us achieving silver status.
