We are delighted to have sponsored a tree at St Luke’s Christmas Tree Festival. This cherished event celebrates community spirit, creativity, and the power of giving. This partnership underscores our commitment to supporting local organisations that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
About the festival
St Luke’s Christmas Tree Festival is a heart-warming event held at St Mary’s Church in Nantwich, Cheshire. Running from November 21st to 24th, the festival transforms the church into a glittering wonderland of 50 beautifully decorated Christmas trees. Each tree is sponsored and decorated by businesses, individuals, and community groups, showing the collective spirit of the season.
Not only does the festival spread Christmas cheer, but it also serves as a vital fundraising initiative for St Luke’s Hospice. St Luke’s provides support for all people living with a life-limiting illness in Cheshire and those close to them to have access to the care and support they need, whenever and wherever they need it. Last year, they supported over 1,000 local people with a vast range of support, from end-of-life care on their ward to supporting carers. They also help children cope with grief and assists patients in returning to work after an illness.
Once the festival is over, our tree is then taken back to the hospice to be used to raise more money for the hospice.
Why we are sponsoring
We believe in giving back to the community that supports us. Sponsoring the tree festival is our way of contributing to the incredible work St Luke’s Hospice does for the people of Cheshire and beyond.
We have fundraised for St Luke’s before and have seen first-hand what a difference the money makes to the hospice. The hospice’s compassionate care resonates deeply with our values of empathy, support, community engagement, and enhancing lives.
Our Christmas Tree: Spreading the cheer
We wanted to make our Christmas Tree unique and feel like our own. We asked our employees and their loved ones to craft their very own Christmas decorations, which we could display on our tree. From crocheting to perfectly hand-crafted baubles, our talented Baywater Healthcare family delivered, with each decoration telling a story and reflecting the personality of the creator.
